Nature's Revenge. . . .

This time it was Japan, who’s next on nature’s hit list??
On whom Mother Nature is going to express her wrath next??
Which place Nature is going to slap this time…??

These are some questions for which we just don’t seem to have any answer. I don’t have any idea about it and I am sure that you also have no clue about the same.

March 11, 2011
The day of devastation, the day of sufferings, and it was also the last day of life for many. Japan was hit by an earthquake followed by influential and disparaging tsunami. Many lost life, people lost their near and dear ones, and many became homeless, such were the consequences of tsunami.

News channels around the globe were busy broadcasting news about the “natural calamity”. Magnitude of earthquake and tsunami were the highlights. Viewers sitting at home were busy giving their reaction to the damage caused by “natural disaster”, but nobody was concerned to even think about the reason behind its occurrence.

There are geological reasons resulting into earthquake and tsunami but there are human reasons also, the reasons given by us. To a great extent our inhuman activities are responsible for our own disaster. The most intelligent creation of God is all set to axe its own species. We are so damn smart that we are endangering our own existence.

For our benefit we often take nature for granted. Taking your creator for granted is not an intellectual thing to do, but still we do it, and in a way we challenge our architect. And when we challenge some one, we try to prove that we are superlative and the other person tries to do the same. We challenged Mother Nature and she made it very clear one more time that she is unbeatable.

We disturb her and hurt her through our “profit making” activities. Instead of harming her if we all work together to save her, the results will be far different. This planet will become a better place to live only when we all will realize its worth and act accordingly.
