Mother Teresa, Genuine Face of Humanity and Charity

Mother Teresa needs no introduction. She was the celebrated mother of the poor and the helpless and she perfectly defined motherhood. Serving miserable was her motto of life and she just loved to help the miserable. She believed that It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start.




Mother Teresa expressed her love or humanity through quotes:

When a poor person dies of hunger, it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her.

Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu on August 26, 1910. Mother Teresa's work has been recognized and acclaimed throughout the world and she has received a number of awards and distinctions, these distinctions honored and recognized her services. Her accolades include:

The Pope John XXIII Peace Prize (1971)
She also received the Balzan Prize (1979)
The Templeton and Magsaysay awards (1979)
Nobel Peace Prize (1979)

The day of devastation, the day of sufferings, and it was also the last day of life for many. Japan was hit by an earthquake followed by influential and disparaging tsunami. Many lost life, people lost their near and dear ones, and many became homeless, such were the consequences of tsunami. 

News channels around the globe were busy broadcasting news about the “natural calamity”. Magnitude of earthquake and tsunami were the highlights. Viewers sitting at home were busy giving their reaction to the damage caused by “natural disaster”, but nobody was concerned to even think about the reason behind its occurrence.

There are geological reasons resulting into earthquake and tsunami but there are human reasons also, the reasons given by us. To a great extent our inhuman activities are responsible for our own disaster. The most intelligent creation of God is all set to axe its own species. We are so damn smart that we are endangering our own existence.

For our benefit we often take nature for granted. Taking your creator for granted is not an intellectual thing to do, but still we do it, and in a way we challenge our architect. And when we challenge some one, we try to prove that we are superlative and the other person tries to do the same. We challenged Mother Nature and she made it very clear one more time that she is unbeatable.

We disturb her and hurt her through our “profit making” activities. Instead of harming her if we all work together to save her, the results will be far different. This planet will become a better place to live only when we all will realize its worth and act accordingly.

George Eliot once gave a beautiful and a true statement, “Animals are agreeable friends - they ask no questions and they pass no criticisms”.



Animals just know to lead their lives the way they want to. We humans can learn many things form them. Animals never hear the clock strike and are never in a hush-hush, they die without any idea and fear of death, they have no instructors and instruction booklets to instruct them, their last moments are not disturbed by unwelcome and unpleasant ceremonies, their funerals cost them nothing, and no one starts lawsuits over their wills.

Having a pet and that to a dog is a wonderful experience. They are surely our best friends and I can say that from my own experience. My German shepherd is my best pal, his name is tiger and I treat him like my kid. You know, I can sit with him for hours and hours and hours. And I can just share my any problem, my happiness and much other stuff that I feel like sharing with him anytime. He just listens to what ever I have to say. I love to sit with him quietly and even a minute spent with him makes me feel contented and refreshing. His just one glimpse wards off my day long tiredness.



I just love my Tiger; he has become an important member of my family. To be specific he has become inseparable part of my life. In the evening when I reach home, I always find him sitting next to the door looking for me. He is a naughty guy I tell u, he teases mom by not obeying her and when I say the same thing which mom was saying, he reacts to it immediately. The moment I open my eyes in the morning, I look for him. I don’t know why but looking at him gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction. He makes me smile and also cry at times, all I can say is that he is a fantastic buddy to have. I wish that my handsome kid stays with me forever.

Thanks to us all that today we are living in the undisputed world of Pollution. We are contributing significantly to discomfort and harm of ecosystem, and ultimately we are harming Mother Nature and self. Our nonsensical deeds which we consider to be of some sense are the main cause of destruction of natural beauty.



Pliny once said, “Such is the audacity of man, that he hath learned to counterfeit Nature, yea, and is so bold as to challenge her in her work. Don’t you worry folks as one day Mother Nature will counterfeit man”

In the name of growth and progress we are heading towards extinction of our own species. I don’t exactly remember the famous sayings which goes something like, “a fool cuts the same branch he is sitting on”. Well, sorry to say we are no exception.

Why we are not gaining conscious from silliness filled sleep, I think the pills are really effective and seem to be manufactured by Mother Nature who is looking forward to take revenge from us as we are destroying her beauty and creativity.

Wake up intellectual creatures…
Heal the wounds of Earth, to heal ourselves…
Enhance her beauty to maintain your own beauty…
Take care of the Mother Earth and she will take care of you in return…

I woke up in the morning with a thought to go for a walk but couldn’t as it was hot outside. Sweat was playing with my body and I let it play as had no other option. Reached office in huff-huff and found self flooded with sweat. I started blaming the weather, said that the climatic conditions are just not favorable.


Without thinking even once that it’s us who are responsible for making climate unfavorable for own self. We have given birth to hazardous “GLOBAL WARMING”. Pollution is the root cause of global warming and the seeds of pollution are planted by us only.

Being the cleverest creation of almighty why don’t we use our mental power in making this Earth as beautiful as one have ever imagined Heaven to be. We can make anything possible if we want to. If we can produce nuclear weapons then why can’t we think of and develop strategies to make our planet a healthy and admirable place to live.


You know, “We are complex beings; we can make deserts bloom and can also make lakes die”

This proves that how talented we are, and on a serious note we are intelligent and talented as well but we always use our brilliance in making life hell for self and others.


I love what Loudon Wainwright said once, “The magnificence of mountains, the serenity of nature - nothing is safe from the idiot marks of man's passing”.
Its a urge to humanity to save our ownselves from the wrath of Mother Nature. Take even the smallest step to aviod the "judgement day" as small things do make big differences. Unite to save her beauty and in return save self....
